But get going anthology — and turn to a different literary reference , Henry James ’ The Turn of the Screw — is an first-class workaround , and cast a familiar fount like Pedretti to star only strengthens its entreaty .

The Haunting of Bly Manor is inspired by Henry James ’ psychological gothic horror novelette The Turn of the Screw , which consider place almost entirely in an old country mansion . There , two young orphans are expect after by a untried governess by whom most of the story is narrate by .
Pedretti will represent the governess , Dani , who is looking after the two unique children .
