If you think that NBC ’s Chuck would be meliorate if it had less Chuck , less spy poppycock and much more BuyMore , then congratulations ! You ’re the target audience for the raw series of Chuck webisodes that play up the kooky and play down the … well , the everything else , really . Did n’t we get banal of this faux - documentary style comedy three season of The Office ago ?
The first sequence , “ corrupt More # 15 : Employee Health , ” is reckon to be footage shot for a BuyMore training video , so we get some unforesightful cheesy moments of the mould “ at work ” – including the first coming into court of Arrested Development ’s Tony Hale , give a thumbs up to the photographic camera – before the director starts verbalize to Casey about his methods to halt shoplifting . Even for something that ’s less than ninety moment long , the punchline to the snip feels ludicrously wire : Hey , Casey , how do you stop crime with that apple in your bridge player ? There ’s someone steal something and they ’re about to leave the store while you suffer there with that orchard apple tree in your hand ! Hey , you throw away that orchard apple tree that was in your hand and bump him out with it ! I totally did n’t see that come . It ’s sad that anything could make Heroes ’ webisodes look both inventive and like they ’d had a circumstances of sentence and attending spent on them , but mayhap that ’s the item of the Chuck shorts . That or clear you sit through thirty retentive , long seconds of Windows trying to convince you that they ’re nothing like John Hodgman at all honest as punishment for daring to hope that you were about to watch something other than a minute and a half of tired filler . well luck next sentence , hopefully . corrupt More # 15[NBC.com ]
