Peacock announced on Friday that theVanderpump Rulesstar, 38, is officially taking over as host ofLove Island USAseason 6 followingSarah Hyland’sdeparture.
“Talk about a bombshell! This summer, I’m trading rhinestone buckles for bikinis,” she said in the video before confirming her hosting debut. “I can’t wait to stir up some trouble in paradise!”
Hyland, 33, confirmed on Wednesday that she would be exiting the Peacock series after hosting it for the last two seasons.
TheModern Familyactress shared on her Instagram Story Tuesday, “Well, I just got a text. I’m disappointed the news had to break this way but it is in fact true that I will not be returning to the island this summer.”
“I have committed to an exciting project, that will be announced soon, that conflicts directly with the shooting dates for Love Island USA,” she continued. “While I’m sad I can’t return, I hope to see lots of love this summer on Peacock this upcoming season.”

On Madix’slast appearanceonLove Island USAin July, theDancing with the Starsalum took aim atex-boyfriendTom Sandoval’s wandering ways.
After Sandoval’s cheating with costarRachel “Raquel” Levisscame to light, Madix set out to make sure the Islanders felt confident in their partners’ honesty. Hosting a “Mr. and Mrs.” game,Madix asked players increasingly personal (and often awkward) questionsabout their dates. The goal of the game was to see “who’s actually been taking the time to get to know one another,” according to the realitystar.
“Take it from me, it’s important to know who you’re dating or sharing a bed with,” Madix said, clearly alluding to her intense fallout with Sandoval. “And if they’re not the one for you, trust me, it’s better to find out sooner rather than later.”

The not-so-subtle digs came after the former couplesplitafter Madixfound an intimate videoof Leviss, 29, on Sandoval’s phone in March 2023.
“They had been having problems for a while, but this was the final straw for Ariana,” an insidertold PEOPLEat the time. “She put up with a lot over the years, but she won’t sit back and be disrespected this way.”
Sandoval has since admitted to cheating on Madix with Leviss formore than seven monthsdespite Madix’s friendship with Leviss. TheSchwartz & Sandy’sco-owner made apublic apologyonsocial media, writing, “I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly."
