After a full day of doing press for their new reality show, the Culpo sisters arrived at their StyleWatch cover shoot remarkably energetic and ready to get (even more) glam. The beauty directive seemed simple: “holiday chic.” But with three sisters, each with their own unique style, and four beauty pros, the assignment was anything but. However, itwasa party.
“It’s always so fun with the Culpos,” says celebrity hairstylistJustine Marjan, who’s been working with Olivia for seven years. Adds hairstylistHayley Heckman, who styled Aurora and Sophia, “It’s never boring with them. They all have such magnetic energy.”
The goal was to spotlight each sister’s beauty vibe (“high glam” for Olivia, says makeup artistLiz Castellanos, and “less is more” for Aurora and Sophia, according to makeup artistJenna Nicole) while also creating a cohesive cover moment. The result: Two updos, four inches of extensions and three sets of genetically-blessed, beautifully-highlighted cheekbones.
So with Shania Twain blasting (per the trio’s request), lots of dancing and some playful bickering, the trio posed for photographer Amy Harrity.
Here, their hair and makeup pros share the detailed beauty breakdowns for each sister:

Olivia Culpo
Known for experimenting with her look, the middle Culpo sister has done everything from neon pink eyeliner to a bow-adorned updo — and that was just in the last week alone.
“We wanted to do something clean, chic and a little interesting,” says Marjan of the slicked-back style she gave Oliviafor the cover storyusing TRESemmé Mega Control Hair Gel, Oribe Superfine Hairspray and a Mason Pearson brush. Her surprise secret weapon: A natural bristle toothbrush. “It gets the hair super sleek and polishes it at the hairline,” Marjan explains of the tool. “The smaller size gives me more control as I work product into the hair.”To complement Olivia’s sparklyFalguni Shane Peacockblazer, makeup artist Liz Castellanos focused on “glowy skin” with a “soft mauve lip.” She prepped Olivia’s skin with Kitao Matcha & Chia Essence Lotion and Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter to “enhance her healthy, radiant skin” before applying Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation. “We didn’t want to go too dramatic with the eye makeup, but still wanted to keep it festive,” she says of the winged liner look. She used Makeup By Mario “Super Black” Master Pigment Pro Pencil from the center to the outer part of her eyes, to “create a lift and elongate.”

Sophia Culpo
She may be the youngest of the three, but Sophia leans towards more sophisticated looks, thanks to her love of structured, architectural silhouettes (like theFalguni Shane Peacockjumpsuit she worefor the cover story). “It’s posh, modern and sleek,” she says of her style.
Hairstylist Hayley Heckman went with a “cool girl wave, plus four inches of extensions for added length.” She also applied Dae Hair Oil on the ends for extra shine.
