A visit to Scotland calls for a classic tartan coat!

The royal mom of three, who celebrated her 37th birthday earlier this month, debuted the piece in Nov. 2012 during a visit to St. Andrew’s School in Berkshire, England. In addition to touring the school and unveiling a plaque, she ran around the field in her heeled boots for some field hockey fun.

Kate’s structured coat made another appearance for the royal family’s annual Christmas walk in 2013. For that outing, she paired the coat with a green fascinator, black tights and boots.
