LaNisha Cole Responds to Accusation She Wants to ‘Turn’ Daughter Onyx ‘Against Her Dad’ Nick Cannon

Responding to a comment accusing her of trying to “turn [Onyx] against her real dad because he is a good man,” Cole celebrated that Onyx, 13 months, has the love of both men in her life.

“She has her relationship with her Father which he himself speaks on. HE absolutely loves ALL of his children which is evident,” she wrote. “I go out of my way to make sure that he has his time with her and I would never speak negatively about him or make Onyx feel anything other than love for her Dad.”

“It’s nothing but love on the days he comes to pick her up,” she continued. “Please stay off my page and leave black women alone.”

Sharing her hope that other families have that same kind of love, she explained that she responded to that commenter becaues “I did feel the need to clarify that she has her Dad in her life AND her Baba Bee @brianpaulkuba.”

“This is our new normal and it’s the reality for a lot of people,” Cole noted. “I love reading your messages about how you all had someone step up in your lives and how positively it impacted you as a kid and now adults.”

She concluded, “I’m only doing the best i can to raise a happy and healthy daughter. My page shows how blessed she is and how much I love and adore her. She’s everything.”

On an episode ofThe Jason Lee Podcastin May, Cannon, 43, revealed that out of all of his children, Onyx is “probably the child that I spend the most time with.”

“I’m with her at least three times a week, for the full day. But I don’t put that out there in the media, social media [because]it’s not for them,” theMasked Singerhost leveled.

Cannon was proud to report, “LaNisha and I have a super strong understanding andour co-parenting operation is so solid.”

“If you see me on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, my daughter is right next to me, whether I’m on set,” he said of Onyx.

“I got a nursery in my office. I’m literally gonna leave here to make sure that I can spend the most time with her — not against all my other kids because all my other kids, they’re in school, they’re babies, as well as Onyx — but the fact that I appreciate that LaNisha gives me the respect enough to allow me to have, really, as equal amount of time as she does.”
