Peta Murgatroyd’s son is growing up fast!
On Tuesday, theDancing with the Starspro posted an adorableInstagramof sonRio Johnto celebrate him turning 3 months old.
Murgatroyd, who shares Rio with husbandMaks Chmerkovskiy, captioned the heartfelt post, “Happy 3 months earthside my little Rio 🎉 You are my light, my joy, my world. Be still my heart, I thank god for you everyday….Pop is watching over you xo.”
FellowDWTSproSharna Burgesscommented, “Happy three months little squish!!! Sweetest boy," while pro dancer Jenna Johnson, who is married to Mak’s brother,Val Chmerkovskiy, chimed in, “Happy three months sweet love.”

Back in June, the couple gave PEOPLE anexclusive lookat their newborn son.
“We loved Rio, which we came upon at the last minute. It’s a perfect complement to our long surname!" Murgatroyd told PEOPLE at the time. “We also wanted something easy to say with Shai.”

The couple first announced Rio’s birth on Instagram onFather’s Day.“Happy Father’s Day to me!” Chmerkovskiy wrote in his caption, before adding a cheeky remark: “#MadeInPeta.”
Speaking with PEOPLE in May, Chmerkovskiyopened up about how special it is to give her 6-year-old son Shai a siblingafter he and Murgatroyd dealt with fertility struggles.
